Concourse 107 and Fayetteville NEXT Advisory Commission team up to host an “I’m Soul” Black History Month – Art and Design Event at Game Day Kutz and Apparel in downtown Fayetteville, NC.
Fayetteville NEXT Commission, chaired by Malik Davis, is a board of Fayetteville residents, ages 19-39, that thrive on making Fayetteville a desirable place to live, work and play. Concourse 107 is a social art and entertainment company based in Fayetteville, NC.
The event gave guests an atmospheric relaxing vibe as they painted a Black History Month portrait of a black couple. Co-Host and Painter Reddick Mack instructed guests throughout the process. The event created a space for entrepreneurs’ guests and those hosting upcoming events to promote their businesses and events. Additionally, the event provided resources from the Guardian ad Litem Program of District 12, training the community that serves abused and neglected children.
The event promoted creativity, inclusiveness, and networking with a fun twist – giving millennial and centennial residents a cool thing to do in Fayetteville. The event promoted Live, Work, and Play with a cultural vibe.
