Local Painter, Filmmaker, and Videographer Andrew Brooks hosted a Vintage Vibes: An Art Life Gala Experience at the Arts Council on January 6th. Brooks introduced his urban art exhibit, called Vintage Vibes. The event also featured local and out-of-state musical talent, singing Hip Hop and R&B music.
The event was followed by a film screening for a movie produced by Brooks titled “What Would Picasso Do?” Some of the cast members were present at the reception. Brooks’ art exhibits were displayed at the Arts Council from January 6th to 21st. According to the Arts Council Outreach Coordinator, Brooks’ art display drew many visitors to his artwork exhibits.
