Cam’ron Speaks Out After Booting Adrien Broner Off Set For Making Inappropriate Advances at His Co-Host

Rapper and media personality Cam’ron isn’t one to bite his tongue, and on his show this week, he proved it when he confronted former boxing champion Adrien Broner. Tensions flared during filming after Broner repeatedly made unwanted advances toward Cam’ron’s co-host, Stat Baby, whose real name is Treasure Wilson. What began as playful banter quickly crossed the line, with Broner ignoring clear signs that his behavior wasn’t welcome.

At one point, Broner interrupted the conversation to address Wilson directly:

“Hey Stat, can you stop smiling?” he said.

“I always smile… Adrien, stop it,” Wilson replied, who appeared visibly uncomfortable.

Cam’ron attempted to diffuse the situation, telling Broner that Wilson had a boyfriend. But when the boxer continued, Cam’ron stepped in and ended it. In a decisive move, he kicked Broner off the set — and still paid him for his time.

The 49-year-old rapper later explained his decision in a social media video, comparing the situation to protecting family.

“If your friend comes to your house and he keeps flirting with your 23-year-old sister after you asked him to stop… and he doesn’t listen, you’ve got to get him out of your house,” he stated. “It’s not a lot to talk about. It’s not a proud moment — it’s a damn moment.”

Cam’ron added that he had invited Broner on the show after running into him at a casino, noting that while the boxer seemed a little tipsy, he was still coherent. He also revealed that parts of the exchange were edited out, including moments when he directly told Broner to stop.

The incident has sparked wider conversations online about respect in professional spaces, especially for women in media. Many users applauded Cam’ron for standing up for his co-host and maintaining the integrity of the show.

On Bluesky, @sleeksilhouette.bsky.social wrote: “Cam’ron handled this really well.”

Another user, @made5k.bsky.social, added: “Told his clown ass he had to go. You doing too much and Imma still pay you.”

@sleeksilhouette.bsky.social followed up: “Gave him plenty of warnings, then got his a$$ outta there.”

Broner, long known for stirring controversy inside and outside the ring, has not yet responded publicly to the incident. As for Cam’ron, the swift and firm response only reinforces the reputation he’s built over decades — unfiltered, loyal to his team, and unwilling to tolerate disrespect.
