Celebrity blogger, Perez Hilton, is recovering at a Miami-area hospital after authorities responded to multiple reports of self-harm at his home while he was live-streaming on TikTok.
In the now deleted video, the 48 year old, was covered with blood from what appeared of him cutting himself, as viewers pleaded with him to stop.
On August 4, 2026, the Miami-Dade Sheriff’s Office said deputies, Crisis Response Unit, and licensed mental health professionals responded to the scene. Officials confirmed the individual was safely recovered and taken to a local hospital, where he is receiving medical attention, while support was also provided to family members.

Hilton’s management later released a statement saying they are aware of the concerning content circulating online and that their primary focus is his health, well-being, and the privacy of his family.
Hilton, whose real name is Mario Armando Lavandeira Jr, is a blogger, socialite, and podcaster from Miami, Florida.
He had a previous hospitalization in March 2026, where he spent 21 days under hospital care in Las Vegas, NV for stomach ulcer which led to gastrointestinal perforation, that escalated into a life-threatening sepsis, because of consistently taking flu medication without food on an empty stomach.
After his March hospitalization, he mentioned that he had found God, changed his life over to God.
“God presented himself to me and then did something. Something I can only call miraculous. It was real, and this has been life-changing,” he said at the time, during his livestream.
“I’ve been crying, but happy tears. Happy tears. Because this is just, this is just so crazy. I’ve been reading the Bible, and so much of what is said here I had already been thinking of. It’s just overwhelming in the best, most beautiful way,” he added, while holding the Bible to the camera.
