Influencer Angel Victoria Murdock’s Duke PA Graduation Claims Exposed After Classmates Raise Questions, Along With Other Claims

Influencer Angel Victoria Murdock’s online persona was exposed as the New York Post did some deep-sea fishing and digging.

According to The New York Post, a representative from Duke University said that Murdock never applied to nor attended its Physician Assistant Program.

The 26-year-old posted a picture on social media of her graduating with her writing in the caption,

“Today, I get to look back and realize that every late night, every sacrifice, every setback, and every prayer was leading me right here,” she wrote.

“Commit to the Lord whatever you do, and he will establish your plans,” Proverbs 16:2. Looking back, I can see His hand in every step, even in the moments I didn’t understand. What once felt impossible is now a testimony of His faithfulness. I’m walking into this next chapter with gratitude, purpose, and faith in what He has planned for me.

Master’s in Physician Assistant Studies – completed,” she added.

The story reportedly unraveled after members of Duke’s 2026 PA class noticed that Murdock’s graduation attire did not match the program’s colors.

One student, Kiera, a 2026 graduate of Duke’s PA program, shared a video that has gained over a million views, explaining how students began questioning Murdock’s claims.

Kiera said classmates asked if she knew Murdock, but she had never seen her on campus or in the program. She didn’t have the time to further investigate the matter at the time due to her being busy with the program. She described the PA cohort as close-knit, saying she knew everyone in her class.

She also pointed out that Murdock’s photos appeared to be mostly taken outside. According to Kiera, when students looked more closely at the one photo Murdock posted inside the building, they determined it was actually from a previous graduating class.

Kiera said the students spend long hours in their designated building, often from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and sometimes studying until 11 p.m., making Murdock’s online portrayal of studying from home even more questionable.

She also claimed Murdock followed her on Instagram and said they were on the same clinical rotation. Kiera said she noticed Murdock appeared to repeatedly align herself with her rotation schedules.

Kiera further questioned Murdock profiting from the image of the students’ demanding academic work through brand partnerships. Students also reportedly could not find her in the class photo or recall seeing her during the program.

The Raleigh content creator spent nearly two years posting content portraying herself as a Duke PA student, showing herself in scrubs, clinical-rotation videos, study sessions, and graduation photos.

Murdock also presented herself online as a licensed real estate agent in North Carolina and Georgia. The Exclusive Press checked that neither state’s licensing database has her listed, nor is she listed under the National Commission on Certification of PAs database. Howard Hanna Allen Tate Real Estate confirmed that she was never employed there, as verified by The Post.

She also claimed she earned a BA double majoring in psychology and biology from UNC Charlotte. The university confirmed she attended but did not graduate, according to The Post.

Murdock appeared on Netflix’s Temptation Island in 2025 as a result of her platform.

Murdock hasn’t publicly addressed the findings but has since deactivated her main Instagram and TikTok accounts.
