Atlanta-based celebrity photographer, Antoinne Duane Jones, is partnering with the Fayetteville Arts Council to host the 2079 art exhibition. The exhibition will take place on Friday, October 20, 2023, starting at 4 p.m. through Saturday, October 21, 2023, at 6 p.m. The artistic photography exhibition is one of the many homecoming-related events for Broncos family and friends.
The Ohio native is known for hosting noticeable fashion shows, Swanktitude at the Cape Fear Harley Davidson, and Food Vs. Fashion, when he previously resided in Fayetteville. Jones hosting an entire art exhibit is a dream of his. “Hosting a full exhibit was on my bucket list. It’s a wish list for any artist, photographer, painter, graphic designer,” Jones shared.
Jones has been in the photography industry for almost 20 years. He started as a fashion photographer before gaining notoriety. Jones took photos for Real Housewives of Atlanta Star Cynthia Bailey, Comedian Cocoa Brown, Singer Syleena Johnson, Rapper Bow Wow, and Quinnes “Q” Parker, one of the singers from 90s R&B Group 112. He’s the CEO of ADJ Media, ADJM Sports (a subdivision of ADJ Media), and Majority Greek Magazine.
The exhibition is a must-see attraction that will take audiences back to the future. The 2079 art exhibition promises to be a unique and thought-provoking experience, blending art with environmental consciousness and futuristic themes. Jones, who majored in Marketing from Fayetteville State University, describes himself as a creative thinker. “Nobody knows what the world will look like in the year 2079,” Jones states.
Jones expresses that a lot is happening worldwide with global warming, lack of water consumption, COVID-19, and recycling less than we should. 2079 gives viewer’s creative imagery of Jones’ ideology on his future outlook on the Earth.
The exhibition will also feature a book signing of Jones’ book, The Down Entrepreneur: A Blueprint to Business Rejuvenation, followed by a private reception, which costs $75.00. Jones’s book is a 30-day step-by-step plan, giving insight and a cost of action to help with business stagnation, injecting life into a business.
Jones’ artwork will be for sale, in which 40% of the proceeds through the sales will be split 20% in scholarships to his alma mater and another university in Georgia.
Jones has become an established entrepreneur and celebrity photographer since purchasing his first camera at Walmart. It holds special significance for Jones because it reminds him of his interest in photography, which originated in Fayetteville.
