In October 2022, Lanette Kelly and Aressa Burton founded Southern JeepHers, a black-owned Jeep club. The club comprises like-minded Jeep club enthusiasts from all walks of life, whose mission is to positively impact the Fayetteville region while showing off their wheels. The organization values community involvement and charitable causes.

Co-founder Kelly is excited to kick off the car exhibit and join forces with NC CEED to showcase the creativity of what women “can do” in the “All Can Do” city. The event will also feature a wrenching workshop where guests can learn how to wrench on their jeeps.
