Comedian Cristina Payne has accused comedian Corey Holcomb of assaulting her outside the Hollywood Improv Club.
The incident occurred earlier this month, with Holcomb allegedly yelling and screaming at Payne while she was outside of the club with friends. He threatened to punch Payne in the face. A man at the club tried to intervene, but Holcomb swung over him, striking Payne in the face.
Witnesses reported to TMZ that multiple people, including Holcomb, tackled the man who intervened between the two comedians before Holcomb fled the scene. Law enforcement received a battery report, but no arrests took place.
The feud allegedly goes back to July, when Holcomb purportedly made threats against Payne, telling people he was going to “super sock” the female comedian and relay a warning to others in reference to Payne, Somebody come get this bi**h before I f**k her up.”
No information on what caused him to make the threats towards Payne that caused the feud to escalate.
Payne denies the allegations. However, numerous witnesses contradict Payne’s claims and are prepared to testify against him in court.
