He shared that the abuse started after his father left his family when he was eight.
“From people who are supposed to look after you, in the absence of a father. I was f—ed up,” he told the news outlet.
Majors opened up to his mother, whom he’s close with, recently about the abuse, and she apologized for not being able to protect him.
“I’m like, ‘It’s not even an issue, Mom. I just want you to know,” he shared of their conversation. “And now we can all get busy and continue to connect and grow and learn from it, because it’s something that was in our family,” he added.
He is making a comeback with his first starring movie role in the upcoming film Magazine Dreams since his criminal trial and firing by Marvel Studios, which is set to release on March 21st.
