Pro-Palestine Activists Disrupt Trump Cabinet Dinner in Washington

A high-profile dinner with President Donald Trump and members of his Cabinet was interrupted Wednesday night when Pro-Palestine protesters from CODEPINK staged a demonstration inside Joe’s Seafood, Prime Steak & Stone Crab.

The dinner, attended by Vice President JD Vance, Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth, and Secretary of State Marco Rubio, was cut short by activists chanting “Free Palestine! Free DC! Trump is a Hitler of our time!” Video from the scene shows one protester accusing Trump of “terrorizing communities at home and fueling violence abroad,” declaring that the former president was not welcome in the nation’s capital.

Patrons quickly responded with boos as security escorted the demonstrators out of the restaurant.

Outside, dozens of CODEPINK members continued rallying, connecting Trump’s domestic security agenda with U.S. backing for Israel’s war in Gaza. According to Palestinian health authorities, nearly 65,000 people have been killed in Gaza since October 2023.

In a statement to RTL Today, CODEPINK organizers said the protest aimed to underscore “the inseparable link between militarized policing at home and militarized occupation abroad.”

The Trump campaign did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
