Three women who were arrested for refusing to pay an extra carry-on fee on a Frontier Airlines flight at Miami Int. Airport have been released from custody.
The incident occurred on Sunday, March 29, when the women: Nafisa Dockery, Davana Cochran, and Dionjana Cochran were checking onto a Frontier Airlines flight from Miami to Philadelphia when a tense exchange with a male Frontier employee took place, according to arrest reports.
The employee notice the ladies had only paid for one out of two carry-on bags, and directed them to step out of line to pay for the extra luggage.
“We don’t have to listen,” Nafisa allegedly told her friends, police wrote in the doc. “Let’s go.”
A verbal altercation followed when Nafisa said, “We don’t have to listen,” according to police report – directing her friends to get on board. The employee warn the ladies they cannot board the flight if they didn’t comply with one of the ladles allegedly saying, “Call law enforcement,” according to report.
Despite being warned that law enforcement would be notified, the trio allegedly rushed onto the aircraft through a restricted area.
Deputies later arrived and asked them to leave, but they refused to comply, leading to all passengers being deboarded.

A brief struggle occurred before the women were taken into custody. One of the women allegedly spat on a Frontier employee during the incident.
The trio was charged with trespassing and resisting an officer without violence, while Nafisa Dockery faces a battery charge.
The women are scheduled to appear in court on April 22nd.
