Dear Summer…Benny The Butcher is back, as the Black Soprano Family general and Griselda cornerstone released a new single, “Summer ‘26,” earlier this month. The single is now available at all digital streaming platforms (DSP). Fans can also watch the new video for “Summer ‘26” below.
“Summer ‘26” is the third installment in his celebrated and fan-favorite “Summer” series, and it is produced by frequent collaborator Harry Fraud, whose signature sound has become a backdrop for some of Benny’s most memorable records.
“Summer ‘26” finds Benny outside and activated, with the street-level precision and knowledge that have made him one of the most respected and consistent voices in hip-hop. Building on the foundation laid by the first two entries in the series, this chapter finds Benny reflecting on not only staying true to the game, but elevating it-and three consecutive summers of growth, grind, and grit.
