Marcellus Wiley’s estranged wife, Annemarie Wiley, reportedly called police Tuesday over an alleged violation of a domestic violence restraining order, the day after criminal charges against the former NFL star were dropped in Florida, TMZ reports.
The news outlet received information from a police source indicating that officers responded to the former couple’s Los Angeles home, where Marcellus is prohibited from entering under the temporary restraining order.
Police determined no crime had been committed, and no arrests were made.
The Florida domestic violence case was reportedly dropped on Monday, August 10th, due to insufficient evidence.
The former Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star recently shared a public post stating that the charges were dismissed because the Florida District Attorney, David Augustine, did not notify her about the hearing and avoided her calls. According to her post, she remains firm in her stance regarding the abuse and threats to kill her that she has endured throughout their 14 years of marriage.
“Our criminal justice system is broken,” she wrote.
“Victims of domestic violence are not protected. This is why women stay silent. This is why women are terrified to speak up and to leave…,” she wrote before announcing her hiatus from social media.
The former NFL player, now a sports analyst, shared on his social media page a screenshot of his charges being dismissed and stated that the illusion is over and that it was backed up with real facts rather than lies.
In a detail post he wrote the following:
“The State of Florida declined to file charges & dismissed the case!
Testimonial Evidence Received is Not Corroborated by Any Physical or Other Evidence.” READ THAT AGAIN.
If the State found her allegations UNCORROBORATED by any physical or other evidence, and my own daughter says she wasn’t telling the truth, then the question is unavoidable: Why should ANYTHING ELSE she alleges be believed?”
“Welcome to the Real House Lies of Annemarie,” he added.
“Believe real victims. Protect real victims. But remember: FALSE ALLEGATIONS HAVE REAL VICTIMS TOO,” he added while noting that his name and character were publicly attacked.”
She filed for divorce and sought a restraining order following an alleged hotel altercation, last month, during a family vacation in Florida. The incident resulted in his arrested in front of their three minor children. The former Pro Bowler, who denied any wrongdoing of the alleged abuse last month, shared that his arrest in front of his kids was ‘the most humiliating and heartbreaking’ experience, per court documents from July 17, 2026.
