This NFL-sanctioned event, a unique fusion of music, faith, and football, is the cornerstone of the Super Bowl festivities, uniting these three elements in the heart of the Big Easy. The NFL Players Choir, featuring current and former players, delivers a moving musical performance that celebrates the power of faith and unity, making it a must-see for NFL fans, music lovers, and those interested in cultural events in New Orleans. In the past, the NFL Player Choir performed at the Essence Festival.
Founder Melanie Few executive produces the Super Bowl Soulful Celebration, which showcases a diverse range of talent. It includes gospel/contemporary Christian artists, comedy, and award-winning musicians from diversified genres coming together to create a soulful experience. Past notable artists include Erica Campbell, Hezekiel Walker, Kirk Franklin, Patti LaBelle, Earth, Wind & Fire, Donnie McClurkin, Yolanda Adams, T-Pain, Snoop Dogg, Mickey Guyton, and Robin Thicke.
The executive team includes producer Valarie Benning Thompson, Leon Knoles, the show’s director, and Grammy-nominated artist Adam Blackstone, the music director.

The show is scheduled for Wednesday, February 5, at New Orleans’ Mahalia Jackson Theater of Performing Arts. The show will officially premiere as a primetime special on FOX on Saturday, February 8, 2025, at 8 PM ET/7 PM CT.
