According to Prosecutors, Singer D4vd Ordered Two Chainsaws from Amazon to Dismember Celeste’s Body After She Threatened to Expose Their Relationship

According to prosecutors, D4vd is accused of ordering two chainsaws to dismember 14-year-old, Celeste Rivas Hernandez, in an inflatable pool after she allegedly threatened to expose their relationship, according to the Los Angeles District Attorney’s Office.

D4vd, whose real name is David Burke, is facing charges including murder, child sexual abuse, and mutilation of human remains. Prosecutors allege the crime was premeditated, involving items ordered online under a fake name, phone activity (including nude photos of the victim). Additional evidence, including blood and DNA samples of the victim, later recovered from his home during the investigation.

Authorities also claim the 21-year-old singer had a long-term inappropriate and sexual relationship with the victim that began when she was 11 years old.

Prosecutors allege Burke stabbed her multiple times shortly after she arrived at his home, then dismembered her body. They say he tried to cover it up by ordering her an Uber and later texting about her whereabouts, despite knowing she was already dead.

According to the filing, the victim spent much of 2024 with him, including trips and weekends at his Hollywood Hills home. They reportedly broke up in November 2024 but remained in contact until April 23, 2025, when her phone activity stopped.

Investigators say texts show she was upset over his relationships with other women and threatened to expose him. Earlier, in February 2025, her parents took her phone, and prosecutors allege he paid a student $1,000 to get her another so they could stay in contact.

Police found her dismembered and decomposed remains in the trunk of an abandoned car registered to him on September 8, 2025.

He has pleaded not guilty and remains in custody without bail.
