The family has created a GoFundMe page for brothers Jaheim (23) and Gianni (28) Pierre, who were born on the same day (five years apart), and tragically died on the same day in what loved ones describe as a senseless act of violence.
The incident happened in Miami, where the brothers had reportedly gone to check on their sister out of concern that she was allegedly experiencing domestic violence involving her boyfriend of four years, Antwan Carter (31), according to authorities.
According to Law & Crime, an argument broke out between Jaheim and his sister before Carter allegedly intervened, leading to a fight involving the three men. Police say Carter later left the scene, returned to the apartment. Before he entered back into the apartment, the girlfriend initially had a door lock to prevent him from coming in, which made Carter in rage with anger. She urged the brothers to not to open the door.

“Open up, open up, you soft a** n*ggas,” Carter allegedly shouted. “I bet one of you won’t open up.”
According to the outlet, security video shows Carter pacing in front of the door for several minutes until it was opened by Jaheim.
He fatally shot both brothers. Afterwards he blamed the girlfriend telling her quote, ‘See what you made me do?’, the affidavit states.

Carter, who recently appeared in court, is facing two counts of first-degree murder. He remains in police custody at the Miami Dade Corrections and Rehabilitation
The fundraiser was created by Kayla Morgan, who said donations will help cover funeral and memorial expenses, support the family during their grief, and assist with additional unexpected costs.
As of now, the fundraiser has raised $2,435 toward its $5,000 goal.
