Divine Queen Yada Ends 8-Year Relationship With Relationship Coach Yada Awakening Amid Allegations of Physical Abuse

Divine Queen Yada, a spiritualist, entrepreneur and mother, is entering a new chapter in her life as she speaks publicly about the domestic violence she says she experienced during her nearly eight-year relationship with Yada Awakening, a self-described minister and the father of her children.

In a message shared on social media, she wrote, “At eight weeks postpartum, looking at a bruise on my face, I had to stop calling it a difficult season and tell myself the truth: It was domestic violence.”

Yada said she remained hopeful that things would work out despite the abuse. She said she continued trying for the sake of her family, the marriage and to protect his image, but eventually realized she was abandoning herself in the process.

“I didn’t leave because I stopped loving him. I left because I realized that if I continued to stay, eventually I would drown,” she wrote.

Yada also shared that she is choosing safety, peace and her children while turning her pain into purpose through House of Divine.

“I am more than someone’s wife. I am more than the things I survived,” she wrote. “I am a mother, a woman of faith, a visionary, and a woman learning what it means to choose herself.”

She also shared videos expressing how ashamed, hurt and embarrassed she feels about the situation as she gathers her belongings and begins moving forward. In one of the videos she had what appears to be a black eye. In one post, she included a screenshot of a text exchange between the two that she says referenced an incident in which he knocked out her teeth. The exchange also included a suggestion that she seek medical attention, with her replying that he’s supposed to be her safe place.

Yada asked for privacy as she continues processing and healing, adding, “This isn’t the end of my story. It’s simply the beginning of a chapter I never expected to write.”
