A perplexing case of mistaken identity recently led to the arrest of rapper T.I. at the Atlanta airport.
The incident happened on Sunday, Aug. 4th, at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport, resulting in the arrest of the Georgia rapper, according to TMZ.
Police had an arrest warrant out for the “Live Your Life” rapper, whose real name is Clifford Harris, but it wasn’t for the artist law enforcement were searching for. TMZ reported that authorities in Baltimore, Maryland were seeking another Clifford Harris, the same name as T.I., for alleged stalking and violent behavior towards a woman.
Steve Sadow, his attorney, took care of the 43-year-old and released him from a Clayton County jail.
A judge dismissed an order that would’ve extradited T.I. to Maryland.
Peep, do you believe T.I. will file a lawsuit in the mistaken identity case?
