On Friday, July 24th, Chris Brown was found guilty of affray from charges in connection to him and his vocal coach, Omololu Akinlolu, attacking music producer Abe Diaw in 2023 at a London nightclub.
The singer appeared at Southwark Crown Court after entering a guilty plea to the serious charges, including assault, attempting to cause grievous bodily harm, and possession of an offensive weapon, which were dropped.
In the UK, affray involves using or threatening violence in a way that causes someone to fear for their safety and carries a potential sentence of up to three years in prison.
Brown is scheduled to be sentenced on October 26th. Brown must return to the UK before his sentencing.
