North Carolina is one of the key battleground states that will make a big difference in the upcoming election. As it gets closer to the election, the Harris-Walz and Trump-Vance campaign have made several visits in the Tarheel State just in one week.
So far this week, Trump made visits to western NC to look at the storm damage from Hurricane Helene, followed by Greensboro, Winston-Salem, Concord, Greenville. His running mate, JD Vance will make campaign stops in Raeford and Monroe for a town hall on Friday.
Meanwhile, the Harris-Walz campaign making a heavy blitz in NC in a week along. Last Thursday up until Sunday, former President Bill Clinton made several spots throughout the state in cities like Wilson, Wilmington, Fayetteville (2-day event), Raleigh/Durham.
Harris’ running mate, Tim Walz, visited Durham and Winston-Salem last Thursday. He’s currently slate to speak in Wilmington. He’s also schedule to make more stops in NC in Durham and Greenville. Former President Barack Obama, whose helping Harris, is expected to be in Charlotte on Friday.
The First Gentleman, Douglas Emhoff and Maya Harris (Kamala Harris’ sister), visited UNC college students on Tuesday in Chapel Hill. Emhoff also attended a canvass launch event alongside his sister-in-law in Cary.

Maya Harris visited a hurricane relief supply organizing event in Carrboro and visited the Guilford Co Democratic Headquarters in Greensboro on Wednesday. First Lady Jill Biden is schedule to visit Cary and Fayetteville Friday.
NC along with Arizona and Georgia are neck and neck for both candidates, according to the Hill. North Carolina hit a new voting record in early voting, which began on Oct. 17th, as more than a million people have already cast their votes, according to NC Newsline.
