Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) Responds to President Trump After He withdraws His Endorsement and Publicly Criticizes Her

US Rep, Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA), has been aggressively pushing for full transparency on the Jeffrey Epstein case, backing a bipartisan discharge petition to force a House vote on releasing the Justice Department’s files. She says the effort is about justice for Epstein’s victims — even as she continues to emphasize her long-standing support for Trump.

Trump, meanwhile, dismissed the push as a “hoax” and opposed releasing the documents. The clash quickly escalated: he pulled his endorsement of Greene and blasted her on Truth Social, calling her a “ranting lunatic” and suggesting he might support a primary challenger.

Greene hit back by releasing texts she sent the president and his aide, Natalie Harp, urging transparency and arguing that his resistance to the files “sent him over the edge.” She accuses him of trying to intimidate other Republicans and says his attacks have triggered threats against her.

Greene insists Trump is making a “huge miscalculation” by opposing the release, noting that several Epstein victims have said Trump did nothing wrong. The dispute marks a significant rift within the GOP, with Greene breaking from Trump on the issue of accountability and transparency.
