Los Angeles – April 7, 2026: Mother/Daughter duo, Denise Gossett and Riley Beeson, have stepped into the Amish world with their latest project “Sugarcreek Amish Mysteries – The Series.” Gossett is best known for her hilarious takes in “Get the Gringo” with Mel Gibson, “The Office”, “The New Adventures of Old Christine”, and “Zoey 101”. Beeson is best known for her roles in “Hope” and “Migrants”. Gossett and Beeson enter Amish country in UPtv’s upcoming cozy mystery series, Sugarcreek Amish Mysteries.
The series expands on the story that began with Sugarcreek Amish Mysteries: Blessings in Disguise, now one of UP Faith & Family’s Top 10 movies. This time, the mysteries unfold over eight brand-new episodes set in the charming town of Sugarcreek, Ohio.
Galadriel Stineman stars as Cheryl Cooper, a woman who arrives in town after a breakup and quickly finds herself fast friends with Gossett’s character Naomi Miller. The duo are pulled into a mystery that leads them into the heart of the Amish community. Blending cozy mystery elements with heartfelt storytelling, the series is based on the popular Sugarcreek Amish Mysteries book series.
Sugarcreek Amish Mysteries is set to premiere on UPtv and the Roku Channel in April 2026. Up Faith and Family will premiere on April 16 and UPtv will premiere it on April 23rd. Fans can catch up now by streaming the pilot movie, Blessings in Disguise, on UP Faith & Family.
