The Fayetteville/Fort Liberty regions will host the highly anticipated Pearly Awards for the first time. This esteemed award ceremony celebrates the accomplishments of members of the Divine Nine fraternities and sororities, recognizing their accomplishments, talent, and commitment within these communities and professions. The board selects the honorees, and each sorority and fraternity select a nominee of the year through public nominations. We invite you to join us for this significant local event on Sunday, November 3, 2024, at 3 pm at the Shahbain Farms and Event Center in Raeford, NC.

Antoine Jones, a renowned celebrity photographer and member of Phi Beta Sigma, organizes the event via his publication, Majority Greek (MG) Magazine. Atlanta and Houston were the hosts of the previous awards. Notable past recipients include Jasmine Crockett and TC Carson, who were recognized for their roles in Living Single. Established in 2019, Majority Greek Magazine operates as a division of ADJ Media, located in Atlanta, Georgia.
Majority Greek Magazine showcases the commendable efforts of individuals within black Greek organizations, emphasizing their positive contributions to communities worldwide. The pioneering magazine also covers significant events related to businesses, acts of services, fashion trends, social initiatives, and sporting activities.

Introducing the Pearly Awards to the region is a significant achievement. The event promises to be an elegant occasion, serving as a platform to honor the accomplishments of the Divine Nine members within the Fayetteville and Fort Liberty communities, marking their fourth show since its formation. Some of the distinguished recipients for this year award are Judge Toni King, Rodney McCrowre, Pat Stevenson, Michelle Dillion, Glenell Smoot, Chancer McLaughlin, Fayetteville Mayor Mitch Colvin, and Tracey Morrison (The Exclusive Press founder).
