Looks likes comedian, Mo’Nique, nd her oldest son, Shalon Jackson, have reconciled after their 2024 public fallout. The Queens of Comedy legend posted family time pictures, on May 29, 2025, sharing happy moments with her once estranged son along with her family with the following caption “GRATEFUL!!!! I LOVE US 4REAL!!!!” The post comes after Jackson shared a TikTok video on May 28th, apologizing for airing the family business, stating that it was a betrayal against the family. He regret the feud which affected Mo’Nique’s relationship with her grandkids and desires to move forward to create more memories as a family.
“Now watching her take pride in making my son’s baby food from scratch, to baking chickpea chocolate chip cookies with my daughter, to being with me the first time my son went underwater in the pool, makes me so happy to have been so wrong before,” he shared after they decided to push past the feud.

“Why I made the videos and how I was feeling at the time when I made them is irrelevant. I made them and I shouldn’t have, period,” Jackson stated.
“My mother and Sidney were very justified to address my mental health condition at the time. I just simply didn’t like it. Taking accountability can be hard if I allow it to be. Bottom line, I was wrong, and I shouldn’t have said any of what I said. I should have just kept my mouth shut and called my mother,” he stated.
Jackson also credited his brothers for initiating a family conversation in an attempt to move forward to family reconciliation. Shalon began airing his strained relationship with his mother after her February 2024 interview on Club Shay Shay, calling her out for spinning false narratives and accused her for not making an effort to fix their broken relationship.
