The Fayetteville Liberty has officially finalized its roster following a three-day basketball camp held February 5–8 at the Crown Complex Center. Dozens of athletes competed for a coveted roster spot, bringing intensity and determination as they aimed to become part of Fayetteville’s newest professional basketball franchise.

The team announced its newest members on February 10th via its official social media platforms. The inaugural roster includes:

Inaugural Game Against the Raleigh Firebirds
The Liberty’s inaugural season tips off March 6, 2026, when they host the Raleigh Firebirds at the Crown Coliseum. The season opener is expected to be a community-wide celebration, reflecting one of the organization’s core values embodied in its community initiative slogan, “HOPE Community.”

Entertainment for the night will feature “Raise Up” rapper and Greenville native Petey Pablo, followed by a special performance from the Hoke County High School Marching Band, further amplifying the local pride and regional energy surrounding opening night.
The Liberty joins the league as one of the newest expansion franchises in The Basketball League (TBL), bringing professional basketball and renewed energy to the city of Fayetteville.
