A disturbing post shared on Facebook by Nikki Cunningham details an encounter she says she experienced with a police officer in Vass, North Carolina, a municipality located in Moore County. In her post, Cunningham stated that the incident occurred on Friday, February 13, 2026, around 9 a.m. She said she was pulled over on U.S. Route 1 (US 1) because the “tag on her license plate was dead.” According to the post, Cunningham claimed that she and the officer, whom she identified as Officer Holden Hall, began exchanging words during the stop.
According to Cunningham, the situation escalated after she took out her phone to record the interaction. She claims the officer became hostile and ordered her to get out of the vehicle. When she informed him that she had a broken knee and foot, the encounter took a left turn, according to the post.

“He grabbed me by my wrist and pulled me out my car. He kicked me in my broken leg twice and hit my head on my car, which caused me to pass out and have a seizure — something I’ve never had before. When I finally woke up on the ground, he was kicking me in my back with his steel-toe boots, trying to make me turn over so he could put me in handcuffs. I ended up in the ambulance being rushed to Moore County Hospital,” Cunningham wrote.
According to the North Carolina Beat, who obtained the police report, Cunningham was charged with three counts of resisting a public officer, failing to surrender her driver’s license, driving while license was revoked, no liability insurance, expired registration, and providing fictitious information to an officer. Cunningham denied the claims, stating that Hall filed false charges against her to protect himself. She said she refuses to remain silent about the incident and is speaking out publicly.

“If anyone has had problems with this officer, please reach out to me. He’s only been on the force eight months — he was a firefighter. THIS MAN NEEDS TO BE OFF THE ROAD!!!! He stole my cell phone and is refusing to give it back. He was trying to see what all I recorded,” she wrote in her post.
In a follow-up post dated February 14th, Cunningham said she received support after sharing her story, stating that 10 individuals messaged her, claiming Officer Hall is known for displaying such behavior and many people have been afraid to speak out.

In a Facebook post, Cunningham reports that the officer warned her not to speak about the matter and said she would “regret it” if she did. She further claimed that while at First Health Moore Regional Hospital, he told other patients, hospital staff, and a chaplain her business, raising concerns about patient privacy. Cunningham also stated that several nurses made comments to Hall, including, “I see you’re still causing trouble,” which she said suggested the behavior was considered typical, as stated in her Facebook post. She described feeling fearful and said she ultimately chose to speak publicly despite the alleged warning.
As of today, the post has received approximately 2,000 shares on Facebook. The post has also been shared on the United Together Services page and through The North Carolina Beat
