Chrisean Rock Continues Blueface Tattoo Removal, Describing It As a Part of Leaving Her Past Behind

Chrisean Rock’s removal of her Blueface tattoo appears to be another step in her ongoing journey of healing and personal growth. The reality star officially began the laser removal process in December 2025, sharing the emotional and painful experience with fans. After her first session, she admitted she didn’t realize how attached she had become to the tattoo and described the process as closing a chapter and choosing healing.

Chrisean and Blueface’s relationship was one of the most highly publicized and controversial celebrity romances in recent years. Their on-again, off-again relationship played out across social media, reality television, and in the headlines, often involving public arguments, breakups, reconciliations, and legal troubles.

Recently, Chrisean has publicly spoken about strengthening her relationship with God and embracing a different path for her life. She has also focused on her music career, fitness, and boxing while working to redefine herself beyond the headlines that once surrounded her relationship with Blueface.

Tattoo removal is not an overnight process. Depending on the size, color, depth, and age of the tattoo, complete removal can take anywhere from one to three years or longer. Most people require between 6 and 12 laser sessions, spaced six to eight weeks apart, according to Physician’s Pain, with larger tattoos, non-black tattoos, and tats in certain areas of the body like the hands, feet, and the rib cage taking the longest to fade completely. Given the size and prominence of Chrisean’s Blueface tattoo, her removal journey could take some time before the ink is fully gone.

In a recent follow-up video, Chrisean said she doesn’t want to go back to the “old Chrisean.” Sometimes growth requires letting go of old things that were once attached to toxic relationships that once became your identity in your broken stage—whether they’re symbolic reminders like tattoos of the person you once were attached to or represent a chapter you’ve outgrown. For many supporters, removing the tattoo is a visible symbol of moving forward and making room for who she’s becoming.

And she appears to be doing good with her follow-up videos of her sharing a movie night with her family and her workout sessions.
