Rapper, Lil Nas X, claps back at Comedian Dave Chapelle in response to the comedian’s jokes. The comedy special, The Dreamers, aired on Netflix in December 31, 2023.
Chapelle received harsh criticism for his remarks about transgender and LGBTQ+ communities in his previous Netflix special The Closer.
In the recently aired special Dave Chappelle took jabs at trans, the disabled community in his latest special The Dreamer.
Chappelle also spoke about how Nas X became “the gayest n—a that ever lived” and his “Montero (Call Me By Your Name)” video.
The video opens in the land of Montero (his birth name) which heavily resembles the Garden of Eden, as a serpent leads us to Nas sitting under a tree of forbidden fruit. As the serpent attempts to reach Nas, he refuses and runs from temptation until he can no longer escape it as he sees him in everything.
Lil Nas X took to X (Twitter) stating the following: “Me and the devil broke up 3 years ago. Y’all are acting like children of divorce.”
Lil Nas X shared on X, “New song and visual next week!” along with a picture of himself making the sign of the cross. He said, “Official art dropping soon.”
