San Antonio Spurs Restrict Ticket Sales Access to Nearby Residents for NBA Finals Matchup

The San Antonio Spurs are restricting ticket sales to customers who live within a 150-mile radius from the Frost Bank Center. The news comes in the aftermath of 45% of ticket sales purchases for Game 5 with New York and New Jersey billing zip codes at the Frost Bank Center.

The data shows that 37% of tickets to the potentially clinching game were purchased using billing zip codes from New York, and another 8% came from New Jersey, according to Kyle Zorn, who is the Director of Content for TickPick. TickPick is a New York-based online ticket resale service for concerts, sports, and other entertainment-related events.

Game 5, which airs tonight at 8:30pm EST is pivotal. If the Spurs win, then they stay alive in the series. The Knicks will win their first NBA title since 1973, if they win the game.
