A new batch of Jeffrey Epstein’s schedules released by House Democrats has revealed meetings and planned events with some of the world’s most influential figures, though the documents do not link any of them to misconduct.
On Friday, Democrats on the House Oversight Committee published excerpts from the files, which included:
• Bill Gates listed for a tentative breakfast meeting on Dec. 5, 2014: “TBD TENTATIVE BREAKFAST Party w/Bill Gates (Invited Ron Baron and Josh Harris…awaiting)”
• Elon Musk noted for a possible island visit on Dec. 6, 2014: “Reminder: Elon Musk to island Dec. 6 (is this still happening?)” — Musk has said he repeatedly declined Epstein’s invitations.
• Peter Thiel scheduled for a lunch meeting on Nov. 27, 2017: “12:00pm LUNCH w/Peter Thiel”
• Steve Bannon listed for a breakfast meeting in Feb. 2019: “7:00am BREAKFAST w/Steve Bannon”

The schedules also included mundane entries such as haircuts, movie screenings, and other social engagements.
In a statement Friday, reported by CNBC, the committee said the batch contained 8,544 documents produced in response to an August subpoena. Lawmakers noted that the files were redacted to protect victims’ identities and that further review is ongoing. Republicans on the committee, who have accused Democrats of “putting politics over victims,” announced they would release the full batch soon.

The committee’s investigation is also examining whether the federal government mishandled past cases against Epstein and his associate Ghislaine Maxwell, who is serving a 20-year prison sentence following her 2022 conviction for recruiting teenage girls for Epstein’s abuse.
Epstein, a financier with ties to global elites, pleaded guilty in 2008 to soliciting a minor. He was arrested again in July 2019 on federal sex-trafficking charges but died by suicide in jail a month later. The revelations underscore how Epstein’s connections continue to cast a shadow over business and political leaders worldwide.
