Meet Stephanie Brown Kegler, the owner of Dancing Without Sin, LLC (DWS). DWS has fostered a vibrant community for almost ten years, promoting a healthy lifestyle through its weekly exercise sessions and alternative health dieting.
Kegler’s fitness journey began at Fayetteville Technical Community College, where she worked out for leisure at the school’s gym. Upon observing the positive outcomes, Kegler decided to incorporate fitness into her daily routine. Since then, she’s been a living testament to the transformative power of dedication when treating your health as wealth. Her journey is not just a story; it’s an inspiration.
In 2009, the fitness enthusiast earned her certification as a Zumba instructor. In July 2015, she established her own business, Dancing Without Sin, with a focus on promoting a healthy lifestyle. Additionally, Kegler hosts a specialty show.
YOUR HEALTH IS YOUR WEALTH
Kegler inspired her DWS followers to embark on the same healthy living journey. She highlights the significance of putting health and fitness first when people are involved in the Lord’s work in ministry, which includes serving the poor, leading people to Christ, and participating in charitable work.
“They’re saying, ‘I can’t get out of bed. She said, “I’m limping,” referring to the common disregard for self-care, a crucial aspect of Christianity.
“Take care of yourself in a healthy way in terms of fitness and eating. God wants us to do that because the healthier we are, the more we can do for them,” Kegler added.
The road to healthy living can be difficult at times if you don’t have the time, can’t afford to eat healthier, or even have difficulty controlling the temptation of your favorite junk food. But in the ‘How Bad Do You Want It?’ Facebook group, with its members committed to living a balanced and healthy lifestyle, you’ll find the support you need. This is the power of community, and it’s what Kegler firmly believes in when it comes to supporting others to commit to health and wellness.
KEEP MOVING
Kegler believes that improving one’s health and quality of life is possible, even for those who think age makes it too late to reverse your health. She believes healthy eating habits and exercise are crucial to enhancing one’s quality of life. She admires her friend, who’s 70 years old, as an example of maintaining her health.
“At the age of 70, my friend modeled during New York Fashion Week last September. I visited New York City to support her,” Kegler exclaimed. “Her secret was to take care of herself and to never stop moving. She teaches boxing classes and everything,” she added.
She also shared that her mother, who’s a cancer survivor, is a source of inspiration for keeping her body moving.
Kegler’s mother, who is active in the community and church, had made tremendous success by moving her body after hip replacement surgery, resulting in no complications.
Kegler shares stories about her mother and best friend to emphasize the importance of physical care and healthy eating habits in promoting good health. She emphasizes the importance of constant movement in everyday and humanitarian work to achieve results.
THE LIFESTYLE COMMITMENT OF STAYING HEALTHY
The new Dancing Without Sin Movement Center, launched on Kegler’s birthday, March 2, 2022, is a testament to her faith in branching out in her business through a higher calling from God. Kegler’s center offers rental, hosting events, group fitness sessions, and specialty classes that promote healthy eating. Kegler also provides personalized meal preparation services, such as cleaning out customers’ refrigerators and accompanying clients on grocery shopping trips to choose more nutritious options. Moreover, Kegler advocates for cancer awareness. She hosts regular cancer awareness events under the organization, providing information, support, and resources to those affected by cancer in the community.
Stephanie Kegler is thrilled when she hears about the results from her fitness class participants. Their remarkable commitment to their weight loss journey is a powerful testament to the effectiveness of their fitness programs and clients’ dedication. The classes not only help with weight loss but also improve overall health and fitness levels, providing a holistic approach to healthy living.
Kegler is thankful for stepping out of faith to help God’s people maintain a healthy lifestyle through physical fitness and healthy eating.
